The Town of Remsen will once again be holding two free trash days in 2013 for all property owners in the township.
The trash days will be held at the Highway Garage located on Phelps/Buck Rd. in Remsen.
Dates for 2013:
Saturday, May 4th from 7am until 3pm &
Saturday, September 7th from 7am until 3pm
If you own property in the Town of Remsen you are eligible to participate.
Property owners will be allowed one permit per parcel and all participants will need a permit.
Permits may be picked up at the Town Hall:
Monday through Friday 8am until 3pm
Monday 5pm until 7pm
Thursday 6pm until 8pm
You may bring one pickup truck load per permit.

A new veterans memorial has been constructed at the Remsen Town Park honoring all those who have served in the past and those who continue to serve our country today.

The NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets requires that all dogs be licensed by the town in which the dog resides.
Residents of the Town of Remsen may obtain a license for his/her dog(s) from the Town Clerk.
The Clerk's office is located at the Remsen Town Hall. Office hours are Mondays 5pm to 7pm and Thursdays 6pm to 8pm.
If one or more of the dogs that you own is/are unlicensed, please obtain a license for the dog(s).
Proof of up to date rabies vaccination and spay/neuter certificates (when applicable) must be presented to the Clerk in order for a license to be issued.
Licensing fees are as follows:
Spayed/neutered - $7.00 per dog
Un-spayed/unneutered - $15.00 per dog
Notice:
Owners of any unlicensed dog(s) following the next dog enumeration will be fined in the amount of $25.00 per dog.
A license will still need to be obtained.
